About Me
Why I Want to be a Web Developer
Since I was a teenager, I have a great interest in various fields in computer science . Alhough my major in college is English Education, my passion for it has been evident after I attened a coding bootcamp in 2017.
The things I most like about coding is that I can really create something out of thin air, not from physical objects but from my mind! It's really nice when things come together to form a useful product or tool. It provides a great sense of accomplishment and personal pride. Beside that, I also like the debugging and fixing part; I feel the satisfaction upon solving a bug or coding problem.
Looking back, I'm really glad that I had stayed consistent with my dream and pursue what I'm passion about. Now I am a frontend developer with 3-year experience.
Current status:
- Working on my side projects using React/Next.js after work.
- Building a Spotfy clone web app.
- Sometimes I would use Blender to create some 3D stuff.
- If I'm not coding then I must be playing games. Current I'm obssesed with a game called Death Stranding. :)

React.js/Next.js front-end JavaScript library
- Learning React.js and Next.js on YouTube tutorials or from Udemy online courses.
- Building this porfolio website by using Next.js in TypeScript and using Tailwind CSS framework to style instead of CSS.
Frontend Web Developer
- Developing new features and tools for our web application
- Building reusable code or components for future use
- Maintaining and improving our websites
- Collaborating with backend developers and UI/UX designers to improve usability
- Getting feedback from PM & users and build solutions for them
Software Project Engineer
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned projects and web applications
- Communicating with customers and making sure the customer’s expectations are met
- Using Babylon.js or Unity to build a 3D web application
- Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Write functional requirement documents and guides
Full-stack Web Development Bootcamp
- Learned Frontend languages HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Learned Backend languages C# and SQL
- Collaborating with teammates to build a web application at the end of the course
- Through this course, I realised that I prefer frontend because I'm a visual person.
Customer Service Representatives
- Serve customers from around the world using Live Chat to communicate with them instantly and also via email
- Taking several chats at a time
- Have general knowledge of 3C product and computer hardware to resolve customers’ issues
- Handle various situations including marketing/promotions, payment, shipping, RMAs, post-sale service, etc.
